Future Students

To all you the new students, for this course I can honestly say read the sections assigned by your instructor. There are many examples within the book that will guide you to making a better paper. Also, use the writing lab avalible through school. The workers can help you come up with a good topic for your papers as well as proff read any of your work. Other good ways to produce a better paper would be too have more than one person look over your paper and make suggestions.
The next piece of advice I have for you is to write your papers early early early. Though it sounds like common sense, pushing yourself to get your paper done faster gives you more time to make your paper better.
Last piece of advice I have for you is too ask your instructor about anything concerning your paper, and i mean "ANYTHING". Your instructor should have the answers your looking for. :)

Things i learned from the first debates.

From the four groups that gave an overview of what their 'pov' was on the subject of legalizing prostitution or weather casinos are good for the community i found that the most important i could take from these was to stay on what topic was being discussed. My over all way of thinking did not drasticly change but i did however see the good points of the opposing sides. I found that the debates are much easier to speak about when you are on the side in which you personally believe, but also it is very easy to get off subject when you think you have a lot to talk about with the topic that you believe.

Rant on Prostitution

Ok, with our government how it is and everyone complaining about the job market and the economy, prostitution should be a legal job practice ONLY IF it is taxed like any other job. This is why prostitution is illegal, b/c the government cant tax a person for doing trix in a car on the side of the road. In Las Vegas there are places known as whore houses which is legalized prostitution and that business is taxed which is why it is legal. If a women or man wants to put themselves in that situation, that is their choice and as long as it follows guidelines and certain codes like any other good business does.

Heated txting conversations.

Im posting this blog due to the absent mindness of people. it is very hard to tell how a persons tone is in an chat over the internet or through txting. people are so caught up in the fact that everything has such a negetive conotation with everything someone says they never look at the raw message thats laid out infront of them. IF YOU ARE TYPING TO SOMEONE OR TEXTING TO SOMEONE. PICK UP THE DAMN PHONE. If you have something to say, MAKE IT IMPORTANT. STOP TAKING EVERYTHING AS IN THIS PERSON IS TRYING TO HURT MY FEELINGS OR THEY ARE BEING REALLY RUDE. BECAUSE YOU CAN NOT TELL WHAT KIND OF TONE THEY HAVE THROUGH A LINE OF TEXT ITS NOT POSSIBLE.

Research topics

From what i have seen in the past, things that interest a writer are what they seem to write easily on. I myself am very into the gaming expierence of World of Warcraft.(It never gets old to me and i consider myself to have somewhat of an addiction) , but that being said, knowing what i do makes researching the topic of the effects of this game even more interesting. There have been many documentations on this game being very negative toward the game proclaiming that it makes students grades bad(which i can conclude is true) and also that it basicly runs your entire life(which i can conclude is also true. Im not quite honestly sure if i can use people on the game itself to interview because they seem the most choices for me to ask about the lives of the people that play this very addicting game. Im planing to find more information on what this game acctually does for a person or on the other hand what other negitive effects the game has on peoples lives. I basicly believe it comes back to addiction and losing track of time myself but im not the third party in this research, im one of the main points of interest.

The Internet Age of Misleading Information

Though the Internet has its many accurate sources it has many more inaccurate sources. Libraries are much better for finding information that is considered relevant because that is apart of the publishing process. You will not find a non-fiction book on why the grass is blue and the sky is green because it just wouldnt make any sense, but through the power of the Internet im sure somewhere within the billions of web pages you will find someone somewhere that has written about the sky being green and the grass being blue. But when information is not plainly evident many things on the internet are not accurate to any degree. Consider this... you are writting a paper on some person you do not know about we will call him BoB. On one internet page it says BoB has 5 children, on another it says he has 3. Which one would you believe? When using the internet to find information it is better to look at more than 5 resources on the topic on which you are searching to insure yourself that what you see on the computer screen is correct. The internet is very miss leading because anyone can write anything, it doesnt matter if it is correct or accurate.

All Poets Are Hippies?

Although many potray poets as being tree hugging, lit up, dirty people; they're many different kind of poets and many different genre of poetry. The stereotype that "All poets are hipies" comes from the year of woodstock so i believe, when they saying was "Make love not war", like that ever got anything finished. I think many poets are lazy yes indeed. They might work on a piece for hours on end without leaving their house or doing anything besides focusing on their writing. I guess everyone has their own definition of "FUN". Any way, cant say all poets are hippies though b/c i can think of two off the top of my head that were deffinatly not tree huggers; Edgar Alan Poe and Emily Dickenson. One was just a crazy old man that didnt know what to do with himself after he lost his wife and the other was a loon that never left her house EVER! Therefore i conclude that all poets are downright crazy. ....hope i dont turn into a poet for no reason at all. lol

My Own Obituary

An American hero some had to say. Patrick Kaiser was one of the most generous, kind, and heartwarming people you would ever have the privilege of meeting. Not only did Mr. Kaiser make his fans laugh through his many comedy shows and sitcoms but he also gave a lot back to his fellow community and many regions of the world. He stayed many years in Africa aiding many small communities which needed food, water, and medical aid. The world has felt the impact this man's death has had.

Mr. Kaiser survived both his daughter and wife at the age of 51.
Cause of death is currently unknown. It was known that he had many heart conditions.
